We are all children of God. However, we so easily forget that. That’s why we have the gift of baptism. Our Savior Jesus was baptized and he asked to “go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit.” (Matthew 28:19)
Baptism is a sacrament in which God is truly present and calls us God’s own sons and daughters. It is a special event that always reminds us that we have been claimed by God’s love forever. Lutherans believe in one baptism that may occur at any point in a person’s life, infancy through old age.
Baptism usually takes place within the worship service. If you or a loved one is interested in baptism at King of Kings, or has questions about it, feel free to contact Pastor Aimee by phone or email. Contact Pastor Aimee
